I'm not much of a hardcore gamer at all. I don't need realism or slick graphics in my games; I just want something that's easy to learn and fun to play. As you cruise along, you can pick up some weapons to help disrupt your opponents or give yourself a speed advantage, and you can also unlock more tracks, karts, and characters by winning races.
Since Mario Kart DS is such a big hit, it's often hard to find in stores because it sells out so quickly. But don't worry; there are several other ways to get your hands on this great game. First of all, if you want to save up to 50 percent off the retail price, you should check out stores that sell used video games. A used Mario Kart DS cartridge will work just as well as a new one, but costs significantly less, so that's something to consider if you're on a tight budget.
A second place to find Mario Kart DS is from online retailers. You can go to any number of websites that sell both new and used gaming software to see if this title is available. With the entire Internet at your fingertips, you'll surely be able to find at least one usable copy out there! And don't forget to try auction sites too. While there's no guarantee that you'll place the winning bid on any of the auctions, you at least have a fair chance of getting lucky.
If all else fails, you can always place an ad on a free classifieds site like Craigslist, offering to buy a copy of Mario Kart DS for a fair price. Chances are, you'll find someone willing to part with their game in exchange for cash.
Mario Kart DS is one of those rare games that is suitable for both adults and kids, and is capable of providing hours of fun for players of all ages. I should warn you, though, that's it's highly addictive, so only buy this if you've got plenty of free time on your hands!
